Bayshore recently completed a $4 million renovation that has helped us expand our specialized care and inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services for members of the greater Duluth community.

Bayshore is the only community in the Twin Ports to be a certified provider of the CORE Program (Centers for Orthopedic Rehabilitation Excellence). CORE is a specialized rehabilitation program for people who do not qualify for an inpatient rehabilitation stay, but need significant rehabilitation to regain full independence. Ideal candidates for the CORE program are people recovering from total knee or hip replacements, or who are recovering from a hip fracture.

We integrate a team approach of physical and occupational therapists, nurses and family members to help people regain their strength and relearn and retrain in activities of daily living, such as dressing, bathing and preparing food. Throughout your rehabilitation, we coordinate continual communication with your physician to ensure that your wellness and rehabilitation activities are seamlessly coordinated.
